The Aerospace Technology Centre and the adjacent technology and start-ups centre Technologie- und Gründerzentrum Wildau GmbH form a unit. Each operates at close to capacity and is engaged in active business. Both are committed to aerospace technology.

FTI Engineering Network GmbH
FTI Engineering Network GmbH is part of the FTI Group which currently employs about 120 people. Our portfolio includes producing test and verification systems as well as qualifyed and certified video systems for the aviation industry.

Fraunhofer Research Institution for Polymeric Materials and Composites PYCO
The Fraunhofer Research Institution for Polymeric Materials and Composites PYCO, together with the Chair for Polymeric Materials at the Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU) in Cottbus, develops highly crosslinked polymers (reactive resins/ duromers) for applications across all industries, especially the transport industry (mainly aviation), the IT industry, and instrument engineering. In autumn 2010, PYCO s going to build a multi-functional impregnation and surface coating plant in the ZLR IV complex.

AiDrones
AiDrones develops and produces unmanned autonomous systems (UAS). It focuses primarily on helicopter drones with a payload range of up to 20kg. These drones (UAV) can be used for a variety of missions such as aerial imagery, surveillance, inspection, remote measurements and reconnaissance. AiDrones further offers engineering services and the installation of autopilots for other unmanned systems like airships and boats.
